Snagged a couple silly pics of Clare yesterday :)

"I told you NO pumpkins this year!" actually, she had juuust started to yawn.

(I wish we had something similar for Clare, but her size is not quite as "impressive") ;) Fen is 20 lbs (and was at 1 year)

Things I've learned about them in the last 365 days:- Fenway is more like a dog than a cat. Case in point: she plays fetch - yes, she actually brings the elastic back to you; scratch her butt and she'll lick you - see Fenway Lovin'; she lays in the sink until you turn it on, which does not cause her to get out. She lays under the water cleaning herself and drinking it. Same with the shower.
- Clare is a Diva. Yup - with a capital D. She climbs everything she can, including the screen door, shower curtains, and the 2 box springs we have hiding in our closet. She also jumps up and over my computer which is on a TV tray, just to prove that she can get up there without touching it (she gets sprayed with water when she lands on it)...it's kind of like the old brother/sister game where you have your finger an inch away from their face and exclaim, "I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you!" She is also part human and knows exactly what she should not be doing (i.e. aforementioned climbing objects) and will wait until you turn your back to proceed with the shenanigans. She is also very proper (always laying with her front legs crossed and her nose turned slightly upwards. I'm convinced she'd be embarrassed if she saw those "tongue" pics I posted above.
- These 2 cats are BFFs and I'm so thankful we got them together!
